Recommendations On Getting Organized
Almost everyone is trying to get better organized. These are some of my favorite books and websites about organization. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Please e-mail me your favorites and perhaps they’ll be added to this page.
Books
- Sink Reflections by Maria Cilley—The Flylady. This is my all-time favorite book on getting organized; there are so many great, easy-to-use tips, and encouragement all the way through the book. Very highly recommended.
- Time Management by Marshall J. Cook. Provides techniques for using time more efficiently.

- Real Simple magazine. Articles about many aspects of life, easy-to-use tips and hints for organizing and making life more simple.

Web Sites
- www.organizedhome.com: Articles and tips to help you organize, de-clutter, simplify, and clean.
- www.realsimple.com: Among other features, a directory filled with tips for organizing, meals, cleaning, and life skills (my favorite is “New Uses for Old Things”)
- www.flylady.org: There is a tremendous amount of information on this website, which goes along with Sink Reflections. Visit it for encouragement and inspiration as you seek to organize your home!
